The Crispi is the one Ninja where the color list reads like a paint aisle. Cherry Crush (FN101DR) is the glossy deep pink-red, Ginger Snap (FN101GD) is a warm brown, Frosted Lilac (FN101PR) is pale purple, Electric Cobalt (FN101BL2) is a saturated blue, and Orange Pepper is a bright citrus orange. Stone (FN101ST) and Grey (FN101GY) are the quiet options, and the green finish is sold as Green on some storefronts and Sage in coverage. Frosted Lilac reads closer to periwinkle blue in person than the pale purple its name suggests.
Pros
- Eight 4-in-1 finishes with identical functions and glassware, plus a gold-trim Emerald 5-in-1
- Glass lets you watch browning and stores leftovers without extra dishes
- Pod wipes clean, and the fixed feet are safe on granite, quartz and butcher block
Cons
- Some units fail inside the first year of near-daily use
- A gap between the glass and plastic base traps water and is hard to dry
- Newer colors can list slightly higher than Stone, Green, Grey and Cobalt
The glass is what we like most. You can watch food brown and flip it at the right moment, and leftovers go from glass to fridge with no extra dishes. It runs at about 62 dBA on air fry, which is mid-range, and the 4-qt container feeds one or two people comfortably. About 11 wings fit in the large container, so three people is a stretch.
One caution: hot glass can crack after extreme temperature swings, and the container is not Pyrex. The gold-trimmed Emerald 5-in-1 (FN103BF) offers a different set of features. The 1800W Crispi Pro has heavier glass and runs louder at 67 dBA, but offers better temperature control.
