- Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, mix melted butter and both sugars until smooth.
- Add eggs, vanilla, and milk. Stir well.
- Mix in mashed bananas.
- Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and gently mix.
- Fold in walnuts if using.
- Pour batter into the loaf pan and level the top.
- Bake for 50–60 minutes until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
- Cool before slicing and serving.
