Meet Yeasin Sorker

Hey, I’m Yeasin!

I’m Yeasin Sorker, the guy behind Mr. Kitchen Adviser. Cooking’s been my thing for over 10 years, ever since I was a kid messing around in the kitchen with my mom’s spices. That spark led me to Beacon Academy Bangladesh, where I studied culinary arts and now help teach others. I’m all about discovering new recipes, tweaking them till they’re just right, and sharing what I learn to make your kitchen time fun and stress-free.

I’ve spent more than ten years in the kitchen, testing recipes, fixing mistakes, and figuring out what truly works. I’ve chopped, sautéed, and baked my way through countless dishes. I perfected a creamy korma after many tries, and I learned why my first sourdough collapsed. Every success and failure pushed me to become better.
I still teach at Beacon Academy, and my students remind me why I love cooking. One of them once said, “Yeasin, your spice-blending trick changed my curry game!” Moments like that keep me motivated.

My Cooking Philosophy

I believe great cooking starts with simple ingredients and a curious mind. I focus on techniques anyone can learn, and I love helping home cooks build confidence in the kitchen. Why Mr. Kitchen Adviser?

I started Mr. Kitchen Adviser after watching friends and family struggle with recipes that looked easy but weren’t. My goal is simple: share practical cooking tips and reliable recipes that make everyday cooking smoother. Whether you’re tired after work or planning something new for a gathering, I want to give you recipes you can trust. I’m honest about my own mistakes so you don’t have to repeat them.

Beyond the Kitchen

When I’m not cooking, you might catch me hunting for fresh ingredients at local markets or tweaking a recipe just because I’m curious. Cooking’s more than food to me, it’s about creating moments, like when a dish brings everyone to the table laughing. Want to know my favorite part? Seeing someone try one of my recipes and say, “Wow, I didn’t know I could do that!” So, what’s your next kitchen adventure going to be?

My Kitchen Tools of Choice

I love tools that save time and make cooking more fun. You’ll often see me using my chef’s knife, cast-iron pan, stand mixer, food processor, and a few appliances I can’t live without. I never recommend a tool unless I use it myself.

What Inspires Me

I draw inspiration from everyday life, street food vendors, local markets, conversations with home cooks, and flavors from around the world. Each dish carries a memory or story, and I enjoy turning those moments into recipes you can try at home.

My Mission

My mission is to help home cooks feel confident, creative, and excited to step into the kitchen. Whether you’re starting from scratch or leveling up your skills, I’m here to guide you with recipes and tips you can trust.
