Tessa runs a household of seven, with five kids between 3 and 17, and a kitchen that never really closes. Breakfast for the teenager who leaves at 6:30, a toddler who will only eat one color of food that week, and a growing boy who eats like two people all land on the same counter, often before 8 a.m.

That is the lens she brings to Mr. Kitchen Adviser. A spec sheet cannot tell you whether a basket fits a full family dinner or whether a blender lid can survive a ten-year-old doing the loading. She cares about how gear works on a Tuesday night when everyone is hungry, and how much of it ends up in the dishwasher afterward.

Tessa writes our family-focused reviews and roundups, covering the appliances that carry a household: air fryers, blenders, slow cookers, and toaster ovens. She scores performance, then size, noise, cleanup, and whether a kid can safely use it. If a machine is a chore to wash, she will say so.
